Hey, y'all. We have another piece of wedding advice for you today! Lately we have seen a lot of brides trying to achieve the vintage look and feel for their weddings. Now, we know that it can be tough (not to mention costly) to search through antique stores or places like Goodwill to find the "perfect mismatched plate set" or beautiful oil-rubbed candelabras. A great solution to this problem is to use a vintage rental company for your big day! I know, I know, it seems like I am finding a business solution for everything you could think of...but I promise, if this is your vision, it is worth a look at a business like this. In fact, there are plenty of these in Georgia that have pieces which would look great in The Barn. Here are four that we would like to share with you:
Ever Thine Vintage Rentals is based in Augusta, Georgia. You can find them on Facebook by searching the same name or visit their website, which you can find here. Take the time to look through their albums, and you can view some of the inventory they have...both snapshots and photo shoots where it is actually being used. One of my favorite pieces is this mantle. I could definitely see it used as an "alternative altar," which we did a blog post about recently. The chair is fabulous as well!
Another great option is Re:Find Vintage Rentals. You can also find a spotlight on these lovely ladies from about a month ago when we did our styled shoot! They are located in Canton, Georgia, and they also have a lovely inventory at very reasonable prices. If you are in search of small pieces that add a vintage touch here and there, take a look at their Facebook page or website as well. We love these old suitcases and cameras...the lamp is just awesome too! We could totally see them incorporated into a vintage theme at The Barn. Perhaps they could add a little something extra to the guest book table!
Ooh La La Vintage Wedding Rentals is located in Watkinsville, Georgia, and they have an inventory that really does embody their name: Ooh La La! Once again, you should check them out on Facebook or their website here. We love their plate collection, but this double decker wash cart is to die for! Fantastic for setting out drinks in galvanized tubs, as shown, but I could also see it as a guest book table or even --possibly-- a cake table! That's the beauty of vintage finds...they can be used for just about anything your heart desires.
Last, but certainly not least, is Southern Vintage in Macon, Georgia. You can find them on Facebook and at their website, which you can find here. They have SO much stuff to choose from! Whether you're looking for place settings, furniture, or even little trinkets for your tables, they probably have it. One of my personal favorite pieces is this doorway, which can help create a little suspense and drama while your guests wait to see the blushing bride make an entrance for an outdoor ceremony!
See what I mean about there being so many awesome resources for you vintage brides? These businesses can make your planning a lot easier if you'll give them a call. Even better news? We think all of them have inventory that would look just fabulous in The Barn. Have fun browsing these neat websites!
