On Saturday, March 15th, Grammy nominated Caroline Aiken and special guest artist Kyshona Armstrong filled our 4000+ square foot barn venue with their soulful stylings of rock, blues, country, and songs of honest emotion that took our audience on a journey like no other. Their infectious energy made people overjoyed that they came to this
unique listening room event.
Kyshona embraced the audience with her soulful blues and left the room feeling warm at heart. When Caroline hit the stage, she brought forth a few companions to add her twist to her famous Americana jams. No one was expecting to see a violinist so deeply involved in his music that the people around him seemingly disappeared.
The bongo player increased Caroline’s unique sound even more by adding a certain ambiance to the room. Caroline, the free bird that everyone loves and adores, then invited Live Music Veteran Scott Little to play the mandolin with her on our stage.
If you missed out on this intimate concert and are looking forward to the next, then join us on Friday, May 23rd for a concert benefitting the Oconee Regional Humane Society. Tickets will be $40 and the evening will include a concert featuring Mike Farris, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. If the Friday night show sells out, a second show will be scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd.
